I've played it for about 6 months and I've bloody well enjoyed it. Sure, from what you have heard of EVE is probably "WOW in space". I've played both WOW and EVE and I can confidantly say, EVE online is one of the best MMORPG's in the game market today. At first, it is a bit hard and overwhelming to start as it is complicated as fuck for begginers, but once you get into it, its a very good experience. Try the 14 day trial and i think 21 day trial over steam. Anyway, the new expansion is being released today and i though I'd share the video.

As for buying the game, the game itself is free and you only have to pay subscription. If your interested in MMORPG's this is one to try.

wow... i probably should of looked at the vid before i made my judgement... it does look like a great game... i wouldn't play it myself (cause of the subscription) but i don't hold nearly as much disdain for EVE players now that i do for WoW players... looks awesome
